By default, Varnish is installed on ALL new Drupal deployments for versions: 6.22, 7.8, 7.9, and 7.10
Varnish is NOT enabled by default. To enable Varnish, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Drupal deployment with an admin account

Click on Configuration .. then Varnish.

At the bottom of the screen you'll see a message that states:

Using the terminal feature in the admin console... run the following command: sudo /opt/standingcloud/local/bin/alternateVarnish

Return to the Drupal (Configuration --> Varnish) screen and verify that Varnish is running by viewing the bottom of the page:
